Haven't written a review in a while but when I have to throw food away, I feel compelled to write about it. I hadn't eaten Chinese food in quite some but was passing by and based on some of the reviews here, stopped and ordered BBQ spareribs, one of my faves. Got home, opened the bag, took one bite, then another, then threw it away. It was so old, so dry, so AWFUL, it was completely inedible. Combined with a 'who cares' attitude person at the register, I will never go back. I don't get the good reviews here at all. I've only had to throw food away once before, ever. Since moving to Florida, I gotta say...this is a wasteland of shitty restaurants and even worse service.

This place is pretty good. Their portions and prices are decent, and judging by the lineups there nearly each time I go, it's fairly popular. One area in which they fail is their quoted wait times for food. I prefer going into the store to order and then I usually saunter around the Publix next door for a bit while I wait for the food. I don't care how long it's going to take, but don't quote me twenty minutes and then make me wait for forty-five. If they're super busy and it's going to be a while that's fine, just tell me. Numerous times I went to pick up my food only to be told it's "almost ready" and then I waited anywhere from ten to twenty more minutes. That's not "almost ready." It was clear they were just patronizing me. In addition, sometimes when your food is ready they'll call out the name/order number/phone number/etc. and sometimes they don't. I always saw people getting in line to pick up their food only to be told it's "almost ready" and I thought they needed to be patient and have a seat as the employees will tell them when it's ready. Turns out I was wrong. One day I waited there close to an hour for my food on a busy night. Several names were called out and they picked up their food. Eventually I got so bored of waiting I went up to see and sure enough it had been sitting there a bit. So sometimes they'll say if it's ready and other times not. I do recommend the place, just don't get your hopes up your food will be ready when they say so. I think they're afraid they'll lose customers if they say it's going to be a forty minute wait whereas I believe most people would appreciate the honesty rather than be told fifteen minutes and end up waiting there another twenty-five. And just in case you're looking for it, no, this is not *real* Chinese food. It's Chinese food for westerners just like nearly every other Chinese place out there. If you want *real* Chinese food you need to go to a place where they don't speak much English and the clientele is all Asian. I've yet to find a place like that in Florida but if you know of one please let me know :)

SUPPOSEDLY THEY DON'T HAVE A WEBSITE. I decided to order based on the reviews and checked out the menu online. When I went to pick up my food and the price was more than the price on the website the girl told me "what?!" incredulously. When I said the house special is listed as 6.25 for a QT. She then told me they didn't have a website?!? So I showed her the site. With their menu, their phone number, their address. EVERYTHING. Her response was well do you want a menu cause we don't have a site. I told her then what is this site linked to your yelp? She straight faced told me that "MAYBE A CUSTOMER MADE IT." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! A CUSTOMER?!?! Whatever. I just paid and told her she should look into it. Anyways: Better than most of the local "chinese" American food I've tried. I ordered the house special. It wasn't greasy and tasted fresh. There was a good portion for a decent price. I will order again, and would've given a higher review if it hadn't been for the responses I received on the price discrepancy.

Amazing Chinese take out! They have the best tasting Chinese food in south Florida! You have to try their dinner combos, you get a lot of food. I love the crab Rangoon, really yummy. My boyfriend always asks for the healthier options and gets the sauce on the side and orders brown rice with steamed proteins and veggies. I really like that it's a family owned business, they have gotten to know me. They are always busy and providing amazing food all the time!!!

Chinatown sits in an average shopping center near Woolbright and Federal. If you weren't looking for it you might miss it. I've been passed it hundreds of times but today I ran out to Subway, checked in on Yelp and the line was too long. I meandered out and looked around and saw the Chinatown sign like a mirage in the oasis. I've been in S. Florida for 16 years and never found GREAT Chinese food - until today. I had pork lo mein and it ROCKS! Hot, fresh vegetables, big chunks of lean pork and a fantastic flavor! 5 starts on this dish alone This is a takeout joint with 4-5 small tables, no ambience - just cheap tables best suited for waiting until your to-go order is ready. I've seen many Yelpers hold back that 5th star because it wasn't a full dining experience. I'm rating them on what they are - no frills, well priced, really good food. They didn't pretend to be anything other than what they are. I'll go back and make sure other dishes are noteworthy but as I sit at my desk with chopsticks in hand, eating the lo mein out of the container...it a zen like moment of bliss.

Best take our Chinese around. Tell Mr. Lee low on salt and more like Chinese style and you will enjoy even more. No place in all of Palm Beach county can beat this place. We come from NYC and know good Chinese.

I read The reviews and got my hopes up high again. This was not Chinese it's Chinese Theme American take out. I ordered Szechuan beef and got beef and broccoli with vegetables, not even a lick of spice and no Szechuan sauce nothing. And before I ordered I asked if he made real Szechuan Chinese food. What a huge huge disappointment. Fellow foodies let's call it what it is and it certainly wasn't Chinese food.

Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. My favorite items on the menu are the spare ribs combo, and their egg rolls. Is their Chinese food authentic? No. But I don't think you could ever find authentic Chinese food unless you go to China. All Chinese food alters by region, same goes in the USA.

Pretty good. Food was tasty, portions were large, and it was really cheap. No this is not "real" Chinese food, but neither are 99.9% of the other Chinese restaurants in this country

Great food, I haven't had any luck with Chinese food here in south Florida but this place was very good! Decent price, quick service and the staff is polite.

Love these guys. Been coming here for years and they are always clean and consistent and very reasonably priced. Don't come expecting mind blowing gourmet. It's just basic American Chinese at a fair price and consistent quality and service. The wings and fried rice combo is a steal and their hotandsour soup is surprisingly good. The eggfooyoung is a guilty pleasure, a bit on the greasy side but I'm usually in the mood for that when I order it anyway.

Really excellent Cantonese Chinese food, better than most I've had in delivery places in Manhattan. Great soup, fried rice, noodles, chow mein etc. And, they deliver. I highly recommend this place.

Nothing compared to NY Chinese food (that comparison is thrown around too loosely) but definitely a solid chinese take out. If you're looking for a good place to order in from you're good to go with China Town.

Your friendly neighborhood Chinese Takeout... good food, good prices, fresh tasting always. Nothing extraordinary, but worth a mention here in Yelp, cause if you need a place to get your Beef with Broccoli fix and your in the area of Woolbright and Federal Hwy, this is it.

Living around the corner, this is the Chinese take-out we order regularly. I usually get the beef and broccoli dinner combo and my husband gets the general tso's chicken dinner combo. It's definitely nothing special, but is tastey, quick and cheap!

This is the best Chinese food I had the entire year I lived in Boynton, and I tried at least 5 different places. That doesn't mean this place is gourmet Chinese, nor is it authentic. What it is: cheap, a large variety of options, quick, and tasty. It is primarily a takeout place, and I don't think they deliver. However, I think the food is worth it to pick up, as it is a lot better than many places in Boynton.

Run of the mill Chinese take out place, would have given them 3 stars, but they screwed up our order which we didn't see till we got home, oh well, live and learn.

This is primarily a carry-out business, but you can order and eat there at small tables provided for customers. The food is by quantity (pint or quart, etc.) and plastic forks or "silverware" and paper plates were provided as we ate at the establishment. Drinks were cold cans of soda in a cooler. There are many choices of main dishes and sides. I was not familiar with many choices, and the responsibility of choosing will be yours to make, as the waitress seemed to assume you know your business. The food was prepared right away, in a kitchen open to view. It was hot and came with white rice and sweet-sour sauce, as we had chicken as well as peppery mongolian beef. Get a menu if possible and figure your order ahead of visiting if you can. This is not a place to expect a dining experience, but more a place to get good food and eat elsewhere.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
